Our Puppies with their Families!!!

Dear Kathy & Jan,

Thought I would touch base and let you know how "Mr. Finnegan" is doing. He has adjusted very well , he has done great on house training, only had two accidents, which I think, was a result of his shot/+worming. He went to the vet 1/6/09, charming everyone in the office. He is very healthy and weighted in at 6 pounds.

What has totally amazed us, is how smart he is, he knows how to sit and stay and learned that is less than a day. Now every time I go into the kitchen, he sits, so cute because he wants his treat. He loves to play, his favorite toy is the red crab you gave him, and a fluffy squeaky toy. He is very curious, not the least bit intimated by new situations, or people. We took him to visit with the grandchildren, he loved the activity and was great with them.

So far he has done well with the cat, Patch, Finnegan is very socialized and just wants to play, Patch did allow him to rub his nose and lick his ear, don't foresee any problems, Patch just has to get adjusted.

We just can't express how delighted we are and how fortunate we were to find you and Jan, it was a long journey but so worth the trip, for our little guy. Should anyone request references, we would be delighted to have then contact us. Our best regards Diane

P.S. Good luck with your next litter.

Hi Kathy,

I thought you might like to see how the little boy has grown. He is a real cutie. I was just about giving up on house training him then this past week he finally got it and is just wonderful. I don't know why, maybe he finally just matured but what a wonderful thing. No messes in the house and no accidents in his crate. He also gave into wearing a collar and now walks on a leash. He starts puppy classes on Monday night. He and Nellie are good pals. I think she really likes him now.
Lucy!!

Hi Kathy & Jan,

I wanted to drop you both a little note to let you know how Sadie is doing. She did very well on our way home and slept most of the time.  She is such a delight to have in our home and we wanted to thank you both for extending your family out to ours. There is so much to say, but so little time. She has stolen our hearts and has total control of everyone in the house.  The kids have spoiled her rotten and she has every chew toy imaginable. She loves to crawl up on the couch in the evenings and just relax. Then on Sunday’s she loves to watch the football games with my husband; she runs back and forth on the chase trying to catch the men on TV. Then see starts barking when everyone is cheering. Thank you both again for all your help and we hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year.

Regards,

Lori

Ruby

Hi Kathy,

Just wanted to let you know that Ruby is doing great!
She went to the vet yesterday to get some more
shots-she weights 6lb. 9oz. She is starting to lose
teeth and is as wild as ever. She must love water
because when Julia takes a bath, she always tries to
jump in the tub. She's been successful a few times!
We're going to have fun this summer squirting her with
the hose. Ruby also wakes Julia up by giving her
kisses and being so playful. We just love her! I'll
send more pictures soon. Oh-feel free to use that
picture of Ruby (on the steps) on your website.

Duncan and Darby
Hi Kathy,
Just wanted to update you with Darby - he is on the left.
Eighteen Pounds, doesnt miss a thing and so smart !  If you are up to it he will play ball or fetch for hours. Really helped a arm tendon problem I had last year, it is all loose now.
He was in for a check and the vet was so impressed with his size and muscle.  Not a bit of fat.
He is so loving and tenderhearted and easy going.
Duncan, she barks at everything, when Darby barks (like a foghorn) I know to get up an look.
But the best thing yet is when Duncan has a toy he wants and she is not about to give it up, he will walk over to the patio door - bark -  zoom off=nosy Duncan goes barking wildly = and Darby trots over to the toy and lays on it!  Now that is smart...........................

Minnie Mouse
Hi Kathy,
Minnie is doing great.  She is an amazing little dog. ........................
Minnie and Essy are getting along a lot better by now.  Minnie is really amazing with her.  She keeps Essy on her toes that's for sure.  The kids are thoroughly enjoying having a dog they can show off at school.  Essy is pretty skittish but Minnie is helping her with that too.  The trade-off is that Minnie has taken over Essy's bed, toys, treats, etc.  She pretty much rules the roost now! ...............................................
Talk with you soon.
